Gites de La Richardière

A blog about our self-catering cottages and holidays in central France.

Gites, Old and New

Here are a few images showing the way in which La Richardière has changed over the last few years. The earlier pictures were taken in approximately 2002 when La Richardière was just becoming a family home and before the buildings were converted to Gites.

La Fermette: The main farm house at La Richardiére is now our family home and forms one side of the central courtyard.

The Old Dovecote ( Le Pigeonnier ) been renovated into a lovely, and romantic, Gite for two people. It now has a small balcony from the bedroom/sitting room upstairs which affords excellent views of the surrounding farm land and makes an excellent position to view the local wildlife.

The Old Farm Buildings are now Gites – Le Martinet and L’Hirondelle.
